History#
Every time you do a bulk rename using Filename Tidy, it will add an entry to its history database that records which files and folders it successfully renamed.
From the History screen, you can undo a bulk rename:
Open the History screen from the “More options” menu at the bottom of the main window.
Find the bulk rename you want to undo and click the Undo… button.
This will open the bulk rename screen and populate the File queue with actions that will rename/move the files back to the their original names and paths.
If you only want to partially undo the bulk rename, you can remove items from the queue by right-clicking and selecting Remove from queue.
If you are happy to proceed, click the Rename all button.
