Privacy Policy

Filename Tidy does not send any personal data to us or any third parties. In particular, it doesn’t use any online AI or LLM services. All of your data – including your filenames, file contents, and settings – stays on your computer. Put another way: you can disconnect your computer from the Internet and Filename Tidy will still work.

Optionally, Filename Tidy will occasionally try to connect to our servers to see if a newer version of the software is available. This functionality can be disabled from the Settings page.
